Honey Al-Sayed was the host and producer of the popular Syrian radio show, ‘Good Morning Syria,’ an award-winning program that focused on civil and social reform. Through her media work, Al-Sayed created a new media platform called ‘Positive Media,’ which focused on forming minds and emerging leaders by communicating positive messages at the grassroots level, particularly youth groups, in Syria. With the outbreak of the Syrian uprising, Al-Sayed has had to leave her country and now resides in the United States.
