The bustling economies of Asia will have a chance to improve international relations as they meet their counterparts from the region at the 18th Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN) Summit. The summit, coupled along with a barrage of meetings, will be held at Jakarta, Indonesia on May 7-8. Various business leaders, from the European Union (EU) and Asia, will attend the ASEAN-EU Business Summit and foreign ministers from the region will also congregate at the ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting on May 6.
