On 17 December 2017, Sameer Patil, Director, Centre of International Security and Fellow, National Security Studies, participated as a jury member at the Digital Masala Challenge organized by Facebook and Youth Ki Awaaz in Kolkata.
The Digital Masala Challenge is a series of 8 hackathons which brings together young teams to create tech or non-tech solutions to counter violent extremism.
