On April 19, 2017, Gateway House organised a discussion with Tilak Devasher, Author of Pakistan: Courting the Abyss, & retired Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, which was moderated by Sameer Patil, Director, Centre for International Security, and Fellow, National Security Studies, Gateway House.
Devasher elaborated on Pakistan’s internal conflicts and the India-Pakistan bilateral. He also discussed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, China’s view of Pakistan as a country, and the vast economic differences between the two countries.
