Sameer Patil, Fellow, National Security, Ethnic Conflict and Terrorism at Gateway House, led a discussion on 19 August on the rise of the Islamic State at NSS Hill Spring International School, Mumbai. He also spoke about new trends in global terrorism today and efforts for peace around the world.
The presentation was followed by a Q & A session with the students and teachers in the audience. The event was attended by around 200 students from 8th to 12th grades and teachers from NSS Hill Spring International School.
