On 28 July 2016, Sameer Patil gave lectures to educational institutions in Pune on the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) New Strategic Concept, the United States’ policy towards NATO and its implications for India’s security. The talk was based on his visit to the NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium in September 2014 as part of the exchange programme organised by the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi. Sameer spoke at the Fergusson College, the Pune University and the Symbiosis School of International Studies.
