On October 07, 2022, Sifra Lentin, Fellow, Bombay History Studies at Gateway House participated on a talk: ‘Uncovering Urban Legacies: Tracing the Armenian Heritage Across Calcutta and Bombay’ organised by Avid Learning, Gateway House, Asiatic Society of Mumbai, and Editions JOJO. She was joined by Alakananda Nag, photographer & author of the book ‘Armenians of Calcutta.’ The talk was moderated by Naresh Fernandes, Journalist and Editor of Scroll.in. Sifra Lentin highlighted lesser-known stories of Mumbai’s Armenian past and present and shared outcomes from her latest research project on Bombay’s Armenian Legacy. The talk was held at Durbar Hall, Asiatic Society of Mumbai.
