On September 17, Ambassador R. Viswanathan, Distinguished Fellow, Latin America Studies, Gateway House, delivered a lecture at O.P. Jindal Global University’s Jindal School of International Affairs, in Haryana, India.
The lecture, titled ‘The New Latin America: A Global Player and Growing Market for Indian Business,’ focused on the scope for Indian businesses in Latin American countries, in the backdrop of the several changes taking place in the global political and economic space.
Ambassador Viswanathan is Distinguished Fellow, Latin America Studies, Gateway House. He is the former Indian Ambassador to Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Venezuela, and Consul General in Sao Paulo.
