Narendra Modi’s invitation to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his swearing-in ceremony may be seen a good gesture to improve Indo-Pakistan ties, but former diplomat Neelam Deo doesn’t believe it means anything for ties between the two countries. “It’s an important move from Modi but you have to remember that with Pakistan, all Indian prime ministers have tried to improve relations.
