On 14 November, reports detailed a military takeover in Zimbabwe. Days later, Zimbabwe’s president, Robert Mugabe, has been placed under house arrest, and is reportedly being pressured to resign. The Zimbabwe military has sought to dispel the impression that this was a coup.
